The Art Deco tiling of the 1920s, 1930s and early 1940s duplex is brilliant in color, has bold geometric shapes and is generally symmetric in design.  These beautifully appointed tiles adorn the bathrooms and kitchens of the Spanish duplexes in Los Angeles.  If you happen upon a duplex where the original tile is intact, you may feel as if you are stepping into a time capsule.  These eclectic tiles are favored by preservationists and are reminiscent of luxury and glamour that first appeared after WWI.

Throughout Stacey’s experience in selling and buying duplexes, she has come across a mix of original Spanish tiling and some Mexican tile restoration – presented here for your enjoyment. When listing with Stacey, she can provide services to help restore, repair and preserve your original tile in your duplex.
